Plenty of Urban Entertainment in Las Vegas for NYE

The Las Vegas Urban Community has plenty of choices for NYE 2009 that will lead us into 2010. If you’re looking for a party blackvegas.com has found several choices for you.  Depending on the type of music you like and the crowd you want to be around should decide where you celebrate New Year’s Eve.
The Movement presents their 2nd annual Black & White Extravaganza and this year their celebrating it at the new Soulzburry Club. It’s hosted by 2010 Miss Black Nevada - Angel Qualls. Music by Special Guest DJ, DJ B Eazy & DJ Bizrok playing R&B, Hip Hop and Old School all night! If you like to laugh and listen to Hip Hop then check out the Grand Opening of Club Vie in The Miracle Mile Shops @ Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Special guest include Omarion, Tommy Davidson, 97.5's Mike*P and DJ Battlecat. It should be quite a seen as some of the people who were behind the old Poetry Club bring Hip Hop back on the strip.
If you want more R&B and Old School then you might like this next event. Local radio station KCEP-FM POWER 88.1 presents a NYE GALA FUNDRAISER at Station Casino’s Aliante Showroom.  It’s hosted by Carlaya (The Queen of Flow).  Over at Alexis Park Resort you got a triple header of entertainment.  CAA Entertainment presents Funfilled Friday’s NYE addition.  It’s hosted by Cheryl Cooley (Klymaxx), Galaxy Glen and DJ Thump on the steel. In the Parthenon Convention Center Ballroom of Alexis Park you will have another party with CAA Entertainment & Twix Entertainment, Grown & Sexy NYE Bash. I went to Soulzbury for the first time tonight expecting good ole school music and fun..the dj could not get the music going, for more than an a hour the drinks were over priced and the proprietor was a rude illmannered old man named Bill who could care less about the opinion of prospective patrons, We will never patronize that dive again.

I went to Red Lounge and it was very nice, enjoyed the music and ambience but unfortunately my friend had heard an announcement about Soulzbury having an ole school birthday bash and we left and went..what a mistake what a dive they didnt even have paper tissue covers for the ladies room toilets and had paper flowers taped or glued on the mirror, sad and there was not music at all for more than an hour overprioce cheap liquor and a rude proprietor who looked like a bum named Bill who could care less about patrons...what a disappointment!!!
